MICROWAVE NON-CONTACT VIBRATION METERS
The meter is designed for radio wave method of measuring vibration parameters of objects, performing linear mechanical oscillations and rotating objects
Field of application – gas and oil industry, heat-and-power engineering, radiolocation and defense technology, calibration stands for contact vibrosensors.
RVM -36P - Non-contact smart vibration meter 36GHz
RVM -94P - Non-contact smart vibration meter 94GHz
A radio wave method is non-contact and without inertia, what enables to apply it in cases, when it is rather difficult to install a contact sensor onto the object performing mechanical oscillations, when it is difficult (the object features a lightweight structure and physical contact with a sensor disturbs its normal operation) or impossible (high-temperature elements, nodes moving at high velocity, the balancing adjustment of which should not be broken, are available).
The meter consists of the control computer (stationary or portable, such as a notebook) and one or several microwave non-contact vibration sensors, which can be connected by means of the digital USB interface (the distance up to 3 ì ), or RS-482 (the distance up to 1200 ì ). In case when a notebook is applied, the meter can be used as a mobile vibro-diagnostics system.
The distinctive feature of the vibrometer is the possibility to measure vibrations starting from 0 Hz, i.e. the device allows to provide high-accuracy measurement of both infra-low frequency vibrations, and to execute functions of a non-contact micrometer. The measuring process is characterized by continuity, what, in case of provided possibility to keep any-duration input realization, makes it possible to study both steady-state and non-steady-state (transient) processes of the measured object.
As compared with non-contact laser vibration meters, a radio wave meter is distinguished by a lower cost, and it can be used under conditions of poor optical visibility and high temperatures.
