COMPARISON WITH CONTACT METHODS OF VIBRATION CONTROL
A typical link coupling circuit of a contact vibration meter into the system of automated control, monitoring and protective switching-off is shown in Fig.1. The analysis of the circuit allows to make a conclusion, that the reason of numerous malfunctions and failures used to be an aggressive medium (vibration and heat), which affects not only a contact vibration sensor, but also a connecting cable, and since the signal level from a piezoelectric sensor is small, then even with a fault-free shielding of the connecting cable, the probability of failure remains significant.

With using a radio wave non-contact vibration sensor, the system of automated control, monitoring and protective switching-off circuit becomes as follows (See Figure 2).
Figure 2. Automated control circuit with applied radio wave sensor
It is obvious, that the given circuit is distinguished by a higher reliability and allows to considerably reduce the probability of misoperation of the control equipment.
